WHAT HAPPENS AFTER OPEN SKILLS SESSIONS
Most Open Skills sessions last 45-60 minutes. There will be times in which our coaches, and special guests at times, will host more advanced skills trainings immediately after the open session completes. These "2nd Session" will be voluntary and will have a fee associated to attend.

IN ADDITION TO TEACHING SKILLS, WHAT IS THE OBJECTIVE TO THESE OPEN SKILLS SESSIONS
At times, coaches at the Open Skills sessions will be looking for players to join a Nationals FFC team. These teams train at the highest level at their ages and compete in some of the more competitive leagues and tournaments in flag football. Because there are expenses for training facilities, coaches/trainers, uniforms, tournament fees, etc... players who decide to join a club team will have financial obligations to cover these costs. Each coach will share the team's costs with families prior to accepting any player to a club roster.

WHY ARE 2nd HOUR SESSIONS AND PRIVATE LESSONS OFFERED
There are several athletes looking for advanced flag football trainings in a small group or private setting. Some of the sessions we offer are over-arching to multiple positions and skills sets. Other sessions are offered to train for an upcoming event, like a USA Football Talent ID Camp in which USA National Team coaches and scouts will be on hand looking for players to be part of the National Team Development Program. Our 2nd Hour Sessions and our Private Lessons are offered for these athletes.

Training Philosophy
Nationals FFC
The Nationals FFC training philosophy encompasses a holistic approach of expanding young player's knowledge and skill level of the flag football game plus making them a better overall athlete. Players are taught and pushed to improve in every phase, from technical skills, to understanding offensive and defensive strategies, to strategic game-time decision-making. The focus on fundamental flag football tactics is emphasized at younger ages, while tactical knowledge becomes more important as our member players mature and ascend through our proprietary training philosophies. Throughout the process, players are encouraged to play a strategic, attacking style of flag football, on both sides of the ball.
